The Marine Band Omni Directional Antenna is a rugged all weather model enclosed in a Fiberglass radome which does not require field tuning or adjustments. Fiberglass has excellent transparency for radio frequencies, it also has excellent strength-to-weight ratio to impart adequate strength to the antenna structure.
The Marine Band Antenna is specially designed for sea-going vessels. The radiator is protected against any corrosion by radome. The compact size of Fiberglass Omni Directional Antenna allows easy transportation and handling. Specially designed mounting hardware is provided with the antenna for easy installation.

Design & Construction:
It is specially designed for Omni directional requirements, the wide bandwidth of this antenna makes it highly suitable Marine band use. Co-axial stub matching is used for smooth VSWR and constant gain over the specified frequency band. The all Brass antenna prevents formation of “Signal Cells”, thereby eliminating intermodulation within the antenna. The antenna employs multiple Brass radiating elements stacked collinearly which are fed in phase. The antenna termination is enclosed for complete weather protection.
